The Number on the Beam Doesn’t Lie

Most shops eyeball a swingweight sticker and call it fitting. We start every session on a beam calibrated against a certified reference weight, then measure head, shaft, length and grip separately before a single ball gets hit. The reading you leave with is the reading that built the club — not a chart pulled off a wall.

Fourteen Clubs, One Beam, No Shortcuts

Every category below gets its own session on the scale. We build a picture of what your current set actually weighs and balances at before we let you hit a single demo head.

01

Driver Fitting

Head, shaft and length combinations weighed against your delivery so the swingweight lands where your tempo actually wants it, not where the stock build assumed it would.

02

Fairway Wood Fitting

Off-the-deck confidence starts with a head and shaft pairing that doesn’t fight your driver swingweight by half a letter in either direction.

03

Hybrid Fitting

Closing the long-iron gap without a dead spot in the set means matching balance across the transition, not just picking a loft off a rack.

04

Iron Fitting

Lie, loft, length and shaft weight mapped across the full set so every iron reads within a single swingweight point of its neighbors.

05

Wedge Fitting

Bounce and grind selected for your turf interaction, with the swingweight held consistent against your irons instead of drifting heavy at the bottom of the bag.

06

Putter Fitting

Length, lie and head balance checked against your stroke path, with toe hang and total weight set to match how you actually release the putter.

Why the Beam Matters

A Mismatched Set Costs You Before You Ever Swing

Pull seven irons off a big-box rack and weigh each one on a calibrated beam and you will almost always find a spread of five or six swingweight points from the pitching wedge to the four iron. That spread changes how the club releases through impact, club to club, all match long — and most players adjust their tempo unconsciously to compensate instead of ever getting the set matched.

Four Stops From First Weigh-In to a Finished Build

Baseline Weigh-In

Every club you currently play gets weighed, measured and read on the beam first, so we have a real starting point instead of an assumption.

Demo Testing

You hit demo heads and shafts across brands while we log strike quality and confirm the beam reading holds under real swings.

Spec Lock

We walk through the sheet together and lock head, shaft, length, lie, loft and swingweight target before anything is ordered.

Build & Recheck

Clubs are built on-site and weighed back on the beam before pickup, so what left the shop matches what was on the sheet.

In Their Words

Readings From Actual Sessions

★★★★★

I had no idea my irons ran a full six points apart top to bottom. Getting them matched changed how consistent my strike feels from the seven down to the wedge.

They showed me the beam reading on my old driver before touching anything. That alone told me why the head felt like it was outrunning my hands on the downswing.

Full bag rebuild with an actual printed spec sheet at the end. First time in years my wedges and irons have felt like they belong to the same set.
